General

What is MyUniverse?

MyUniverse is an AI link in bio: a digital contact card you share by link or QR code, which doubles as a full personal landing page. Add photos, videos, songs, podcasts, or documents, and the AI Assistant builds it all into a page linked right from your card.

How do I create my card and page?

Sign up, pick a username, and your contact card is ready right away. From there, add media in the Library, then use Page Design to choose how your landing page looks — your card and your page are always connected.

Who is MyUniverse for?

Anyone who wants one link to share instead of a dozen — musicians, photographers, realtors, students, or anyone who just wants a clean personal card and page.

Public & Private

What's the difference between a public and private page?

Your Public Page switch is the whole-page on/off toggle — set it to Live and your page is visible at your username link; set it to Private and it isn't. On top of that, every contact field — phone, email, address — has its own separate visibility toggle, so you can keep your page public while still hiding a specific phone number, for example.

How do I hide or show my public card and landing page?

The Public Page toggle in your profile settings controls this directly — flip it to Private any time to take your page down without deleting anything, and back to Live when you're ready to share again.

Can I share a private photo or video without making my whole page public?

Yes. Pick specific private items from your Library and generate a private share link. It's claim-locked to whoever opens it first and expires on its own (you choose how long, from a few minutes up to a few hours) — so you can send a private photo or video to one person without changing your page's visibility at all.

Library & Media

What file types can I upload?

Images: any standard image format, plus HEIC/HEIF from iPhone.
Video: any standard video format.
Audio: any standard audio format, including MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC, and OGG.
Documents: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, plus TXT, RTF, ODT, EPUB, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, and XML.

What is the Library and what can I do there?

The Library is one place for everything you've uploaded. From there you can edit an item's title, description, or thumbnail (with a built-in crop tool for images), delete it, and for videos, jump straight into the Pro Video Editor to manage chapters and captions.

Page Design

How does Page Design work?

Page Design is separate from your content — it controls the template, color palette, hero style, and section layout of your landing page. Change any of it any time without touching your photos, videos, or bio.

What templates and features are available?

Templates range from a simple hero-and-media-grid layout to multi-section pages combining a music player, gallery, and a featured highlight, up to a masonry-style gallery with a featured item. Sections like the audio player, featured content, and Pro Video player can be mixed in depending on the template.

How does the AI Assistant help build my page?

The AI Assistant generates and refines your bio, and helps steer your layout choices around your profession — musician, photographer, realtor, student, business/professional, and more each lean toward a different treatment.

Music & Podcasts

Can I add music to my page?

Yes — upload songs to your Library and feature them with the on-page music player, available as a section in several Page Design templates.

Can I upload podcasts?

Yes — podcast episodes upload the same way as any audio file and are automatically transcribed. Full episode chapters, similar to what Pro Video already offers, are on the roadmap but not live yet.

Pro Video

What is Pro Video?

Pro Video is a featured video player for your page. Upload a video and MyUniverse automatically generates chapters — each with a title, summary, and its own spot in the timeline — so viewers can jump to the part they care about.

Can I fix a typo or a misspelled name in captions?

Yes. The Pro Video Editor lets you find-and-replace text directly in the caption transcript — handy for names or terms the automatic transcription didn't catch — and the correction is saved permanently and reflected in both the captions and any chapters generated afterward.

What's the difference between "Captions + Chapters" and "Captions only"?

In Page Design, you choose how your Pro Video appears: with a chapter sidebar viewers can jump through, or as a clean captions-only player with no chapter list.

What's Next

Can I use my own domain instead of a myuniverse.com link?

Not yet — a private label/custom domain option is coming so your card and page can live at your own domain instead. It's next on the roadmap.
